hi im shaun aka DJ F im definatley one of da old skool ravers
i used to go to hippos every friday & saturday night, i live in rhodes middleton, ive been deejayin since i was 14 but i really took off when the rave scene emerged i did a couple of under 18s nights at hippos near the end but didnt quite make it to the weekend sets because it shortly closed down, my mates use to take the piss & say it was because of my djin

anyway i found this site through someone who posted a message to me on musicv2.com & theres a mix on there ive done to reminisce my times at the hippodrome because them nights will never be repeated, its called BACK TO THE OLD SKOOL (hippodrome v.i.p rave mix) i will post a link up shortly

Glad to have you on board Shaun, did you ever DJ with Twin-E if I remember right he was doin a bit there, just before Hippos closed down.

thanks for the welcome, yeah i remember twinny shame it had to close so soon to me beginning to dj reckon i could of rocked the place :wink:

Shaun u never Knocked about with Brogen and who was the other called Goth, Gank Gonk... I know it starts witha G. If u did, back in the day did you live near/on the first left hand turn going past KKK from middleton.

Yep I've still got my pointed bedsheet with eyes cut out, I only tend to get to wear it on Halloween as a ghost costume these days .......oh and when we're setting fire to the local Mosques. lol

Shaun the lad I'am thinking of, used to DJ, I also remember he let a girl stay there for a couple of weeks, this girl didnt have a home and used to stay at peoples houses untill Hippo's was on again then she'd find someonelse' house to stay at, if that was you Shaun then I remember U, but sayin that bein from Rhodes I could probably Know you from just being from MIDD
